..............--- Aluminum Rack for Top Case ---

With all the storage the cases provide you would think we were satisfied but we wanted more. Especially a place to put some riding gear that we might be in and our of along with a place for some water bottles.

Givi makes a rack to go on the top of the top case ( TRK33/TRK46 Top Case Rack), but I decided to make one.

I bent up some 3/8" round aluminum stock for the perimeter and use more for the cross pieces and welded that up with a Lincoln 225 amp Tig welder.

The feet are 9/16" round stock that were drilled and tapped for #10 SS screws ....

... that penetrate the case top from the inside. The rack didn't take too long to make and I believe it is stronger than what the Givi rack looked like to me but it is also probably just fine for the intended task.

We carry a couple waterproof bags that we can put items into if needed and put the bags on the rack. You can see one inside the top case above.
