...…--- N Scale ME Code 70 Rerailer and/or Grade Crossing ---
.................................................. --- Part 2 ---
=========================================
On this page is a rerailer that works with ME Code 70 track (maybe others). It could be only a rerailer or a rerailer and a road crossing. I have four versions. One full length that could be screwed down in a hidden track area. One without the screw tabs that could be glued down to the roadbed. Two versions that are only one half of a rerailer that I thought might be used somewhere like near the ends of a tunnel facing one way or the other. Not sure if one does this or not but it was easy to cut the print file in half so made those also.
You want the outer edge of the rail to fit tight against the sides of the rail slots. File along the outer side of the slot if your printer doesn't leave that flat. You also need to file the bottom rail flange on that side flat with the side of the rail or else the flange will push the rail away from the sides of the rail slot in the rerailer.
The rest of the pictures should be self-explanatory and you can see the file names on them for the print files you need.

If you want to use the rerailer as a road crossing also there are .065” X .065” ledges on both sides that you could place roadbed stock on if you wanted. Stock that is .060” would work well and could be any length to fit the location.
The YouTube above or ( HERE ) shows the rerailer in action.
