I don't know much at all about signal lights on a layout but there was a request for some dwarf signal light stands so I looked at a few and came up with the following based on some that I saw. These are not exact reproductions of any one type but what I felt would work for some with their N Scale layouts. You could also slice them up, maybe down also, to work with other scales.
The following are 4 options that one can print in N Scale, HO Scale or half way between the two.

The dwarf light that I posted further above is actually oversize for N scale (right above) but about perfect for HO with a lens size that is close to the 8 inch lens on most of these lights in the US. (not sure about other countries). I made it large to make sure that most filament printers could print it. Then decided to reduce the size that is close to true N scale size (middle above). Didn't try it with the filament printer but printed in resin fine. All the detail is there but hard to see unless you have it in your hand. It is really small but usable if you want to stay at scale. I got two of the 0402 LED's in it but then they shorted against each other but would work with some effort to avoid that. So one could change the color on the fly between 2 different colors and have a 'true' N scale signal.
The one on the left is about half way between the two sizes and would still probably look fine for N scale.
I'll work of getting the files up for the different options for the smallest one and the mid one in addition to the large option which is about perfect for HO.
Had a request for Z scale dwarf signals so decided to give that a try and see if they would print. I had used the free version of Fusion to design them and then had used it to scale the HO size signals to the next two smaller sizes. I had made the center hole for the LED a little different for the N scale ones. I scaled the N designs down to Z scale and worked on the hole up the center a little more. It will still hold a 0402 SMD LED and probably another above the lower one in the two aspect signals. I'm about positive if that didn't work you could get two 0201 SMD LED's in the Z ones also.
The four designs shown above can be printed in the four different scales/sizes.
I'd recommend leaving the supports on until they are painted and ready to use.

These are really small. If you haven't guessed it that is my finger behind the signal.
I didn't paint the one above black to block the light since the paint hides some of the detail. Paint them black, best to use an air brush probably for thinner coats. Turn the intensity of the LED down with a different resistor.
I'm still amazed at what the AnyCubic printer I bought a couple years ago will print. Newer models have replaced it but doubt they print much better. These are super small so print extra as you will loose some, I did.

I've been printing them with a BamBu Labs A1 filament printer with them flat on their back on the build plate.
