In the morning we made the short couple mile trip back ....

.... to the ramp, which was now deserted and ....

.... moved the boat ....

.... back onto the trailer for the trip home. I'd was worried how far I was going to have to back into the water since the ramp doesn't have much slope to it. With that in mind we 'blew the ballast water out' with a 12 volt air pump for the first time. That raised the boat and we had no problems retrieving the boat doing that and we will probably do this in most instances in the future.

There was no way we were going to return home via the very mountainous route we had taken to the lake. Instead we headed north to I80 and then west to east of Salt Lake City where we took the cut-off that lead us to Provo, UT. From there it was home via Price, Green River (Utah) and Moab. It was a long day with the 470 mile drive tacked onto taking the boat out of the water but we were back home again that night.
