I'll add pictures later of the cover that goes over the nav-station hatch. We had made it previously but it wasn't the right size when we got to the boat. Back at home we modified it to fit. It has screening on the sides also but not the back/top.

We ran out of time to make the one that will go over the main cabin hatch and will decide later if it should have screened or solid sides. I think the solid sides will make the V-Berth hatch cover more efficient as the boat will be faced into the wind usually on anchor. Not so sure you will get much benefit from that with the other two hatches further from the bow and also since they will have obstructions in front of them.
