The framing material is mostly 2 x 2's which are actually 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”. I then cut strips of 1/2” plywood 1 1/2” wide and screwed them to the 2 x 2's on the inside of the walls. This gives a 2 inch wall thickness and I used 2 inch foam board to insulate between the framing members. The trailer is well insulated and so far we are happy with nighttime temperatures down to 45 degrees with no interior heating.
