GP7, GP9, GP18 The main differences were internal not external. The most visible difference is the size and number of radiator fans (excluding the optional dynamic brake fan) but the GP7 and early GP9 had the same fans, that is 4 small fans. Latter GP9 had two larger fans. GP7's could also have dynamic brakes. Atlas GP7's and GP9's appear to be the same..

DDA35 - use frame with a GP30B shell from Shapeways.

---------------------------------------------------------------

EMD DD35A – 1965 – V. 1 – p. 69 – 2nd Guide p. 87-88 (15 Units) DD35A was essentially two EMD GP35 locomotives on a common frame, riding on a pair of 4-axle Flexicoil trucks. The cab of a GP35 was fitted to the front end, requiring a longer frame than the DD35; the fuel tank beneath was lengthened, and the center pass-through walkway was offset a little to the rear because of the single cab.
