.......................--- Starboard Cockpit Locker Platforms --

The starboard cockpit locker was hard to store things in as the hull sloped down and there was no flat area except for a small shelf that had been added to the compartment.
A platform was cut after making a pattern from cardboard.

The shelf sits on the old shelf on one side and the hull on the other. It can't slide down the hull as it is wedged against the back of the shelf. There is still storage under it and now containers with items in them can be placed on the flat platform making the locker a lot more user friendly.
The other item in this locker that I wanted to address is that you have to stand on the slanted hull side to get to either the thru-hulls that are just ahead of the compartment or to the engine room area. I had been throwing a cushion down there but wanted something a little better.
A simple little platform was cut from plywood and it just sits in place on a small bracket by the opening to the engine room. Normally there are a few items sitting on it when access is not needed to either space by this compartment and it gives another flat area to put something on like a 5 gallon plastic bucket.
When we were looking for an Endeavour we thought we wanted one with the A Plan layout. In that layout there is another berth in the area where this locker is.
In afterthought I've been happy to have this locker space and more importantly the easy access to the back of the engine, the transmission and prop shaft, 4 thru-hulls, water heater, back side of the galley area and the steering controls.
