This mod came about as the result of wanting to add a second anchor bow roller and also a platform for a manual windlass that we had bought. There is an opening into the area under the bow at the head of the V-Berth but it is pretty useless as far as reaching any of the hardware up by the deck in the bow area. I think it is there as that area is also a space for a second anchor rode in addition to the hinged locker in the bow that is shown in the next picture.

I realize that a lot of people reading this won't cut their boat up but I'm all about function and utility and now with the new access ports there is a lot more of that. The pictures below are pretty self-explanatory. E-mail me if you need more info.
